After the parliament passed the controversial media media bill,it has faced a lot of resistance from media fraternity and Kenyans at large, personally i think media freedom is fundamental and it should not be limited whatsoever.
Kenyans came out in large numbers to pass the new constitution which clearly stipulates media freedom, according to article 34(1) of our constitution freedom and independence of electronic, print and all types of the media is guaranteed, also Article 34(2) clearly states:
The state shall not-
a) Exercise control over or interfere with any person engaged in broadcasting, production or circulation of any publication or the dissemination of the information by any medium; or
b) Penalize any person for any opinion or view or content of any broadcast or dissemination
The bill that the president returned to the parliament stating which provision should be changed is not good as he is obliged to return it without dictating which part of the bill should be changed, to make the matter worse he did not mention the harsh part of that bill about the fine that media house and individual journalist should should be fined the amount of the money was too much
To gag media is not the solution of the challenges that are facing the country and members of parliament should engage in debates that are beneficial to 40 millions Kenyans.
That bill is returning us back in 1990s when you would not report or talk about the corruption within the government, we really appreciate the watchdog role that media plays in the society and to gag their freedom is backward and barbaric idea.

DAVID MOYES SHOULD TRY TO USE HIS STRONG ATTACKING TO IMPROVE THE CLUB PERFORMANCE
Manchester united is a club that has a great history in English Premier League and now after the sir Alex left the new coach has brought new tactics and style of playing , for along time their formation has been 4-4-2 .
Courtesy of you tube
The new coach should now try to utilize their strong forwards to improve their performance,David Moyes should try to use 4-2-3-1 system which is used by strong clubs such as Chelsea and Real Madrid by using likes of Kagawa, Rooney and Welbeck and use Vanpersie as sole striker and with emergence of young talents such as Januzaj they can try to utilize him not still forgetting likes of Nani and young.
I am convinced this formation can help the club to score many goals, by using Kagawa, Rooney and welbeck rampaging and continuously pressurizing it can really confuse the opponent defenders ,through this they will not only help to score but also the defenders will be unable to mark Vanpersie

How would life be without football?
Have you ever thought of this? football as what is loved most all over the world,i try to think about this, how would life be without it? i think life would be bored tireless and even people would feel no need of existing.
Now English Premier League is back again with tight race between English giants likes of Manchester, Chelsea,Liverpool, Manchester city and strong emerging clubs in the premier.
Football relieves someone after day full of stress also it plays a vital role in strengthening people from diverse background. I think people who are in relationship appreciate the importance of football in the world after hiccups here and there between them football act as neutralizer how would it be if their is no football?
This issue took me to research in my own country how fans are filled with enthusiasm togetherness and exposure when they are celebrating their teams starting with the most loved league English premier League.
How would it be to leave in a place where their is no critics when your club is denied a penalty? or celebration which are there when your club scores? i now know you are thinking the goal that Van Persie scored against Aston villa to reclaim their 20th title , no worry maybe Hazard when he scored against United this happiness is what many fans will never like to miss in their lives.
On 26th August United faces Chelsea when Manchester are starting their life without sir Alex, they started good in this race but with thrill match against Chelsea it will be litmus test for David Moyes. Chelsea with their experienced coach of mind game will be in a position to show his experience.
Manchester have to accept Sir Alex Ferguson has gone and they must move on they shown against Swansea the question is will they be in a position to battle in triumph against Chelsea?
How then will be our night be without such tough games which increases temperatures all over the world?
Lastly from every wound their is a scar and in that scar their is a story and today Manchester have the scar that was left by Chelsea in FA elimination stages and now they have a great story and a great story is tonight have fan enjoy the game

Let our diversity be our sense of nationhood and patriotism.
The founding fathers of our nation were energized and visioned and determined to fight poverty, deceases and ignorance. Our generation inherit a society with same challenges of our fore-fathers. At independence Kenya was a nation of diverse people determined to work together and meeting goals and aspiration of our nation.
In past decades our diversity has been the source of conflicts, up to now we are still confounded by incompleteness of our national and societal consolidation process of managing a society which is just and inclusive.
Its time for all people to arise beyond our tribal lines and work like brothers and sisters, we all pass the same challenges ,as a country we are great nation blessed with people from different tribes let this not cause any divisive between us instead it should promote our patriotism by appreciating each other regardless of his /her background.
People are greatest asset of any nation and us as Kenyans we are endowed with rich diversity of people and cultures. As Kenyans we need to employ all energies and focus on shared common future. Our diversity have enormous strength that we need to tap on and build a strong relationship of all Kenyans
In past elections our diversity has been the source of tensions, misunderstanding and strife, people have fought due to this where our leaders have taken advantage of our diversity to split us as a nation through their speeches and stereotypes of inciting tribes against other we should now learn from our past experiences and ignore such leaders . Our diversity should not be a source of tensions and exclusion instead we should harness this, build harmony and draw strength out of it.
Past years we have experienced economic decline and social tensions. Politics have led to ethnic differences of Kenyans, it's time for all people to draw our diversity in building a patriotic dignified and and confident society that will help us in establishing a health society with an economy which is competitive, robust, dynamic and resilient which is able to respond to vicissitudes of operating an open economy
Kenya deserves a democratic process, indeed Kenya must build on her past victories, our fore-fathers greatly won our independence through blood we must not go backwards. We must all face the future and go forward as nation regardless of our diversity let's say 'no' to violence it have led to loss of innocent Kenyans and destruction of properties which have led to decline in our economy.
Let Kenya be free, pluralistic and tolerant where all tribes live in harmony and cohesion with a spirit of mutual understanding and respect. Yes we may be a diverse in terms of our tribes and ideas but all of us want the same thing-better Kenya.

Politics and drama behind teachers strike saga
Last week parliament had a tough argument on whether to take back money allocated for laptops to teachers who are on strike, it was a battle between the two coalition in parliament that is cord and jubilee.
The motion was debated where the two rivalry coalition disagreed and not only disagreed they disagreed vehemently as cord leaders supported while jubilee disagreed, it reached a point they were to decide on ballot as to whether the money allocated for laptops would be turned to cater for teachers demands.
Cord leaders claimed the laptop is not the priorities the jubilee government should consider, they complained and persistently insisted teachers should come first. They compared a student in Turkana on how you would teach them on how to use the laptops under trees and others claimed the government should consider building and restructuring schools.
On their side jubilee government with their tyranny of numbers in parliament insisted laptops promise should be implemented, obviously with their numbers they rejected the motion.
Politics will never lack 5years in power is not a long period both coalitions had their promises on their blueprint the jubilee won, people will judge them on how they will have achieved on their promises, if laptops will not be implemented the cord coalition will have a trap card to out do their opponent.
You cannot see directly the politics behind it but if you look on a perspective on how the politicians in parliament dramatized the whole issue you can see the truth behind it.
If you promise a child something you should be ready to give, even the bible says a child can not ask her father a bread and he give her a stone so whatever government promised children it should be implemented with heart
The world has changed in terms of ICT sector and people must accept the fact and stop the critics of excuses of teachers strike.
Teacher is a valuable human being in our society and government should address their demands with utmost good heart, everybody have passed through them, whether you are President, doctor, Politician and everybody you would like to mention.
It's high time teachers should be recognized by the government, if it were members of parliament wanted to increase their salaries all of them they would have been united but when something that is of public interest they part ways.
The government has money so laptop funds allocated should not be diverted to cater for teachers let the treasury release money to cater for teachers, as each and every financial year ministries returns billions of their unused funds to treasury so those funds can solve the strike
Politics should change and our leaders should keep their animosity and ammunition and discuss matters that is of public interest.

Continuation............................ Shameful unresolved social problems; 50 years down the line
Social problems are not yet resolved by previous governments, people are living in hardships to sustain their families and even to sustain their own stomach, difficult living standard is challenge to majority of people.
In every election people woke up early to chose their leaders who they think will help to uplift their living standards, after they get to power things returns to business as usual. Someone may ask why is it business as usual? Most people chose leaders because of what he/she possesses in our society, in short they go for money not on credentials, then the same people will start crying they are neglected by their leaders.Who is to be blamed for what is happening in our political arena? Simply its electorates who elect them to power.
In 1963 their was a pillar to eradicate poverty which even today is a pillar because it's still a challenge that has not yet been resolved. The same problem which was there in 1963 is the same we are fighting till today. The countries which we were together in terms of development in 1963 have made a great step in terms of development as most of them are highly industrialized.
People should not regret because they are ragged behind in terms of development it's their mistake that they keep repeating after every elections, this is because for every country to develop it must have leadership of high integrity, leaders who are not corrupt who are able to put interest of people in hearts.
Most Kenyans earns less than a dollar per day which is a challenge to cater for their basics needs, most people are desperate with life which leads them to involve themselves in criminal activities and others in to drugs . This is a great challenge affecting many youths especially in Mombasa, this a challenge that needs all stakeholders to bond together to find a lasting amicable solution.
Employment is another issue which is affecting our country every year students are graduating in our universities, their is no market to absorb thousands of youths, government has not structured good mechanism to address this challenge ,now the problem is worsening as we progress now we have a millennium goals which i don't think we will achieve it with all this challenges affecting our nation.
Now we have vision 2030 which have its pillars which are supposed to be achieved in that year, if nothing is done to address social problems that are affecting us as nation it will just be a dream.
The new government should address social challenges that are affecting our nation if it's determined to reach Kenya to its dream and aspirations.
People should now open the eyes and see things in a perspective by choosing their leaders wisely and realize anyone can become a leader regardless of his/her background and it's through this we will bring our country in prosperity.

Cord outcome solution in Naivasha
Former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka will be back to parliament, this came after deep discussion of cord elected leaders in Naivasha.
This means that one leader will have to sacrifice his ambition to give path for Kalonzo, but the cord did not say who will step for him.Kitui central MP where Kalonzo represented in past decades said he was not aware of him stepping down and nothing has been communicated to him.
If this is going to be effected Kalonzo is going to be leader of minority in parliament and former Prime Minister on his side will champion outside parliament.
Do you support cord decision

Kenya shameful unsolved problems since indipendence
It's devastating for our country 50 years after independence people are still killing each other east, west is bloodshed, for along time now the security of our country has been disturbing as terrorist have taken the room and space to terrorize kenyans.
Back in our history our fore-fathers fought greatly for our independence having in mind their rights and what they were fighting for will be solved, others lost their lives , others injured and mostly who survived were detained, starting with land problems which has been taken away by the white man, after 1963 the government which took over never addressed those challenges, thats why the way we are living today with fear without knowing who will evades us are all fruits of failed first governments. This is why illegal grouping has emerged past decades starting with Mungiki, Mombasa Republican Council which have turned against it's own people.
In 2006 Mungiki killed many innocent bloods Kenyans in name of fighting for their rights, MRC has been alleged to involve with itself with criminal acts which have led to death of innocent Kenyans. All this groups without forgetting Sabaout land Defence what it did in Mt Elgon are memories many people will hate to recall.
This groups has emerged because of land problems and since independence all governments escaped to handle this issue which is very critical. Now what government did is to fight back and sent Armed forces and GSU to counter reactions of this groups, what emerged after they were sent to Mt Elgon, all testimonies we heard was how they dehumanized people starting with women and the worse men what they went through their hands but the question is, did they came up with the solution to curb emergence of such groups? did the government resolved land problems? bearing in mind MRC emerged recently.
The other issue is tribalism which is the biggest challenge in our national integration of our country which means even if we enjoyed favorable election period doesn't mean this problem is resolved, but all this challenges started when we gained our independence our leaders didn't foster togetherness to rebuild our nation regardless of our diverse backgrounds, Our fore-fathers brought all this animosity that people have which continues to bite each and every time we have elections. The past governments has failed us to bring people together also our politicians has extended this challenge by playing their tribal cards.
Security also is a challenge especially those which are mitigated by politicians to harm others basing on their politics of interests starting with what happened to Bungoma and now Mandera issue with all has been alleged to have politicians under cover of it. Government must take appropriate actions to all those who are behind tribal wars.
All this are challenges which are yet not resolved till today, Kenya has impressive resources our independence was greatly won, all of us might have different idea but we want the same thing a better- Kenya, people must open their eyes and know we want leaders who can deliver not basing on their name but on how he/she can forge us forward.
Keep following me i unearth for you challenges that are not yet resolved till today.

Men desparation with life after campus: but their is hope
For recent years youth in the country have be always been promised to be the leaders of tomorrow and they will be created job opportunities which up to now no response is made to address this issue of unemployment.
Last Friday on Easy FM they had posted on their face book wall how campus guys pass through when they are searching for attachment which make them to indulge in relationships with sugar mummies in all just to go easy with life.
I followed the discussion and most guys they claimed they go through hardships to get internship compared to ladies as i will quote one who said " I myself all ladies who we finished together have gotten internships" The other question which was emerging, is which criteria is used to offer internships to many organizations.
The most emerging questions is, is young men have no space in the job market? Most of them in social sites claim they have nothing to give compared to ladies, it's a deep discussion on space of a young man in the society we are living today.
Many young men have lost hope with life as many indulge in criminal activities others are drug addicts due to unemployment. Everybody was crying for a space of a girl child in the society but now it's opposite a boy child is neglected.
Every day in newspapers classics young men are looking for sugar mummies. Even if it's personal it raises a lot of questions on our moral standards. Now young men you are supposed to know life is struggle you should fight for it.
Let all young men not look easy way with life, even if job market may be unfavorable let them indulge in youth development programmes or look in ways to fight with life the best thing is never lose hope keep trying success is not automatic you must work extra hard.
The job market must also be fair with men and ladies while giving internship to campus students.

Wonders of Kenyan football
For recent time Kenya national team have been deteriorating on it's performance only managing to get 3 points on World cup qualifiers. Starting with high football officials, fans and everybody apart of few, others they were very optimistic that they will head to Brazil
What makes me to say there are wonders is, it's only in Kenya where unexpected is expected how do you expect performance without hard work? let's not blind ourselves with hopes which are not there.
Everybody now is crying we have no strikers who can score which is true but what is Kenya Football Federation doing? What i only heard from them is we tried when we were beaten by Nigeria in our homeland.
I want to get your attention by asking a question how did Zambia became the champions of Africa? did they became through magic? they prepared psychologically physically and everything after the plane clash which killed their players, the great step they did is they came up with mechanism to revive their football. Federation of Zambia is led by a person who played and understand the importance of football.
This is very critical and if nothing is done we will continue with poor performance let the officials understand success do not come through magic it come through hard work.
This is not time to blame each other but is the time for all stakeholders to get to serious work .
Secondly it's only in Kenya where football is led through interest with no solution let all stakeholders have passion instead of hobby.
The other big issue is it's only in Kenya where coach is changed like clothes now how do you expect performance?
We have a new coach now let federation give him time to search for quality players who will fit on our team not basing on how you know with who but basing on what you can deliver.
Let the coach go to" mashinani" to search for players let him leave Nairobi and through this we will get what we are lacking.
The other thing is it's only in Kenya where they prepare for 5-6 days expecting to perform but how with players playing their individual game players need to know each other on the field they need adequate time to practice together now let the stakeholders come together and look for solution even if they will be calling players month before the game.
Lastly it's only in Kenya where they don't organize friendly games to give their players exposure and experience and expecting results and expressing optimism to beat Nigeria and go to Brazil but how can we beat them with all there exposure and experience of playing international matches? before they came to Kenya they had played with Mexico what about us?
It's time to look for solution if not it will always be a stupid dream to go to world cup.

Its shame for our leaders to seek salary increment
The country is on bad move those who were elected as leaders have started seeking on how they will increase their salaries.
This is a shame because even they have not worked and they are demanding more pay as what the commission of salaries and remuneration proposed is less.
I don't know whether our MPs' are aware how much a common man earns per day and also the difficult life as they toil to earn their daily bread it hurts because its only the common man who is subjected to heavy load of paying salaries through taxes.
The idea of disbanding commission is on bad taste let them look for challenges that are facing Kenyans and come up with amicable solutions instead of looking for things for their own interest.

Politics back in boardroom

Whats your take on this development?
